Attendance Contract - Good attendance is critical to academic achievement. The school is responsible for working with each student and his/her family to encourage excellent attendance. This contract is an agreement between the student, the school, and the family to improve attendance.
Behavior Contract - Good behavior is critical to academic achievement. The school is responsible for working with each student and his/her family to encourage appropriate behavior while at school. This contract is an agreement between the student, the school, and the family to improve student behavior.
School-wide Policies - FRMS has established policies for behavior to help students succeed in school. The discipline policies outline behavior expectations. Our discipline policy will be in effect for students while on school grounds, while going to and from school, and during all extracurricular school functions on and off campus.
Progressive Discipline Chart - The purpose of progressive discipline at FRMS is to teach students appropriate behaviors so they have the opportunity to be successful. No handbook or policy manual can cover every disciplinary situation that may occur. Instead of trying to include every possible rule and consequence, it is much more effective to establish progressive system designed to layout a systematic approach to discipline. Implementing specific behavioral interventions while working with parents as partners in the process is critical in supporting student responsibility and success.
Friday School Guide - As the school year continues, the use of additional consequences is necessary to help students comply with rules and policies, and also provide an additional level of intervention for negative student behavior. One such intervention is Friday School.
Sexual Harassment Form - Twin Rivers unified School District is committed to maintaining a learning environment that is free of harassment. We prohibit the unlawful sexual harassment of any student by an employee, student, or other person at school or at any school related activity. Any student who engages in sexual harassment of anyone at school or at a school-sponsored or school-related activity is in violation of this policy and will be subject to disciplinary action.
Witness to Incident Form - When an incident occurs and needs to be investigated, this form is used to try to acquire the most accurate representation of what happen from those who witnessed the incident.
Weekly Progress Chart - Teacher and parent can use this form to help keep students accountable for their weekly academic progress.
Dress Code Policy - The following guidelines are intended to define appropriate student attire and personal grooming. We believe that students should “dress for success” and that a dress code policy helps keep our schools safe and effective. A standard dress code helps make the campus safer and more secure by eliminating the wearing of gang-related clothing, which can also be used to intimidate students or conceal contraband. Moreover, outsiders or non-students are easily recognized on campus. A standard dress code helps students focus on learning.
Tardy Policy & Late - FRMS exists to provide all students with the opportunity to be effective communicators, critical thinkers, and collaborative workers in order to prepare them for high school. For students to acquire the knowledge and skills to become proficient they need to be on time to class every day.
